The Church Office receives many inquiries about meetings and events happening either at CUMC or sponsored by a team or ministry of CUMC at a venue other than the church property. In order for the staff to answer questions, and ensure there is available space for a function, we are asking all Ministry Teams to follow procedures outlined in this document.

Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Form – A New Way to Give! Our church is embracing technology and adopting a giving option that may be more convenient for many of our congregation. Electronic transfer of your weekly or monthly contributions is simple and easy! Child Development Center (CDC) families will be able to make tuition payments in the same way. One simple and easy to use form can begin your electronic transfer of payments from your checking or savings account directly to the church account. While away on vacation, you can be content knowing your pledge has been received and is contributing to the work of the church. It is fast, safe, and easy! In fact, it is less risky than checks, as it cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed in the mail, and the rate of accuracy is high. The electronic transfer will cost you NOTHING. You save the cost of the check. The church will issue you a donation statement for your tax records, and your bank statement will provide you with a record of transfer as additional proof of your contributions. Donations via EFT can be made to our General Operating Fund or our Mortgage Reduction Fund. Of course you can cancel your authorization of transfer at any time by notifying us in writing. But we believe that once you have enjoyed the convenience and savings of his new program, you won’t want to go back to the “old-fashioned” way of contributing to your church! Complete the form, attach a voided check, and return to the office in an envelope marked “EFT Program” or place in the collection plate.
