Appalachia Service Project
"Appalachia Service Project is a home repair ministry through which volunteers and [their] staff repair homes for low-income families in rural Central Appalachia. [Their] goal is to make homes warmer, safer and drier, while offering transformational experiences for volunteers and families alike." www.ASPhome.org
i) Youth ASP
Each summer, our youth and their adult leaders travel to Appalachia for work for a week in service to ASP. ii) Adult ASP
At least once a year, a group of adults travel to one of ASP’s work centers to volunteer their services repairing homes in one of the country’s most impoverished areas. Usually, the trip is in mid-October. Anyone is welcome to join us, no experience needed. Read more about ASP here: www.ASPhome.org
